Holomentis: Holographic Sculpture

The Holomentis Experience

Video footage of Holomentis sculpture built for The Brain Project 2016 in Toronto and on display at OCAD University. This public art installation encompasses a mix of research in neural imaging (with Cerebral Diagnositcs), digital holography, computational photography and sculpture with the university's Prototype Holographics for Art & Science (PHASE) Lab. The video demonstrates the rich colours achieved with holography, and how everyone's view of a hologram can differ significantly with angle of view, height, and speed of movement.
